Cinemascope
Oneword's weekly trawl through all things cinematic with Stuart Reid, Nick Duncalf and James The Engineer. New releases and classic films are given the irreverent Cinemascope once-over. To enter competitions, or send the boys a message, email them.
On this week's Cinemascope...
On this week's show, Nick and Stuart will be assessing Dreamworks' latest attempt to wrest the CGI crown from rivals Pixar, that's Over The Hedge, and reviewing the follow-up to sleeper hit The Story Of The Weeping Camel, that's The Cave Of The Yellow Dog.
Did you win Invaders From Mars on DVD?
In last week's Cinemascope Film Club we sang the praises of 50s sc-fi classic Invaders From Mars and had DVDs of the movie to give away. The answer to the question we set was of course, b)Plan 9 From Outer Space, and the lucky winners were Manjit Bhail, Chris Gillard, and Reuben Wilmott.
We Have Moved...
After three very happy years cosying up with James the Engineer at a purple fabric-lined padded studio on Charing Cross Road, Nick and Stuart (and for that matter, James too) have moved out of the West End into the glamourous environs of Edgware Road, London NW1.
CINEMASCOPE NEEDS YOU!
In a new development, Stuart and Nick decided this week that they just can't be bothered coming up with more ideas for the show - can you help? We need your suggestions for forgotten or unsung gems and cult classics for The Cinemascope Film Club, or why not challenge the Cinemascope duo to review a Great Film They Haven't Seen?
We're Back!
Yes, after an online absence of a couple of months, Stuart and Nick can now bring you the very latest and very best version of the Cinemascope website yet. Don't forget to come back here each week for our latest reviews, competitions, and other news.
