Win Spanking the Monkey on DVD!

Yet more prizes on Cinemascope - thanks to our friends at Axiom Films, we've got 4 copies of David O. Russell's audacious debut movie Spanking the Monkey to give away. To be in with a chance of winning, just tell us the name of the acclaimed indie director who took a rare acting role in David O.

Is Point Break worthy of the Film Club - you decide!

It's been an ongoing argum... sorry, discussion on Cinemascope for almost as long as the show has been in existence: is director Kathryn Bigelow's surfing bank robber movie Point Break worthy of inclusion in the Film Club, or not? It's a simple question, but while Nick thinks it's a rollicking ride, perfectly suited to Keanu's vacant persona, with bravura action set pieces, and he even quite likes Patrick Swayze's highlighted mullet; Stuart just does not agree, and has so far refused to allow the movie's inclusion.

Win cult classic Two Lane Blacktop on DVD!

Another great competition on Cinemascope - we've got cult classic Two Lane Blacktop on DVD to give away. Starring music legends James Taylor and Dennis Wilson, Monte Hellman's road trip classic was one of those great 60s and 70s rebels-on-wheels movies, along with Easy Rider, Vanishing Point and Electra Glide in Blue. To be in with a chance of winning this great movie on DVD, just answer this question: The race depicted in Two Lane Blacktop led to a real-life cross-country American road race. What was this race called? Was it: (a) Death Race 2000, (b) The Cannonball Run or (c) The Trans-Am?. Send us your answers via email to [email protected] or via the post to Cinemascope, Oneword, 50 Lisson St, London NW1 5DF. Good luck!
