Synopsis
A documentary chronicling the legendary Glastonbury Festival, from the first gathering in 1970 to the present day, edited together from hundreds of hours of home movie footage.

Review
Goes some way to bringing the spirit of the festival into the cinema, without the smell – which you’ll be grateful of when you see them emptying the portaloos. Great archive Super 8 footage mixed with digital video from up to the present day, with nice performances unfortunately cut short for the sake of the running time, which still comes in at a far too long 2 hours plus. Couldn’t we have had less songs in full, rather than edited bits of lots of stuff? Unlikely to pull in audiences who aren’t naturally drawn to this kind of thing, and wouldn’t it have made sense to release it this summer, as there’s no real festival this year?
